How did you come to Germany and Central Franconia?
In April 2018, I first came to Pfarrkirchen, and in October 2018 I moved to Nuremberg for my master’s studies at FAU.
What would have helped you upon arrival?
The support at the immigration office was helpful. What I missed was information about sports courses and hobbies to meet people, about finding a working student job, as well as tips on CVs and job interviews in Germany.
Why did you stay in Central Franconia?
After my studies, I looked for a job here in the region and found a position as a Marketing Manager at NürnbergMesse — and stayed.
What do you wish for the future?
Ich wünsche mir, in der Nähe von Nürnberg ein Haus zu kaufen oder zu bauen, und bei der NürnbergMesse Abteilungsleiterin im Marketing zu werden.
What do you expect or hope for from the event?
I hope it is a great opportunity to connect, meet people with similar experiences, and find a way through German bureaucracy together.
